Hilding Anders förvärvar det danska premium varumärket Dunlopillo
With the acquisition of the premium bed manufacturer Dunlopillo in Denmark, Hilding Anders is once more putting acquisitions on the agenda. This acquisition reinforces the Group’s positions in the Nordic region.
Having completed no fewer than 12 company acquisitions since 2004, in 2009 Hilding Anders focused on consolidation and the launch of new product concepts. The Group is now continuing its acquisition strategy and adding the Danish bed manufacturer Dunlopillo to its brand portfolio.
Dunlopillo in Denmark has turnover of SEK 60 million and manufactures beds, mattresses, pillows and quilts, all in the premium segment. The brand enjoys high awareness in the Danish market following major initiatives in the areas of innovation and marketing. The acquisition also includes the rights to the Dunlopillo brand in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland, thus providing attractive opportunities to launch the brand in totally new markets. The company will continue to be led by the present management team, with Henrik Reenmers as Managing Director.

The acquisition of Dunlopillo is part of a major expansion plan through which Hilding Anders aims to continue to grow organically and via acquisitions.
